Mogshade Pond in the New Forest this afternoon.

I guess I'm not alone today in suffering from HEBETUDE (a state of mental lethargy). It feels like a day for finding some MOGSHADE and sitting quietly with a good book 😃 (I actually have to do some work!)

Hope you find the perfect mogshade! 🌟

I’ve donated a 12x18 metal print of “Mogshade” to the Clarion West fundraiser. You can find it under “beautiful nature photograph”

My hound dog kept seeking out the mogshade today. 💛

📖🌳🐈‍⬛ Just reading elsewhere that 'mogshade' is an old English word for the shade cast by trees.

In the replies, some wit adds -

“Also, the look your cat gives you when you have failed in your service.”

Photos of mogshade welcome 😀

Walk from Bratley View to Lucas Castle in the New Forest this afternoon. Good to see Song Thrush, Red Kite, Jay, Wren and Blue Tit.

My favourite word that I picked up from you a few years ago, at the other place, was "mogshade"

Some more pics from our dog walk around Dunham Massey manor park.

Lovely trees & a blue sky. The autumnal sun, lower in the sky angles through woodland creating a mogshade over fallen leaves.

This was last week, it's colder & darker around these parts now. Winter is coming
