The liberating thing about abstract art? Absence of "pressure" associated with trying to capture a likeness. All that remains....is a relationship with canvas. e.g. In the case of this "splosh" 😋 ! #acrylicpainting #acrylics #scottishart #monkeys #monkeyartists #acryliconboard #liquitexacrylics

A new painting: "I Dream....Of Daisy".

It's a field of Daisies and Forget Me Nots.

I hope Daisy likes it.......

This afternoon Francis has mostly been painting small, white cornflowers. Bruce has mainly been on "banana protection" duty.....

Francis started a new abstract painting. Then he felt a bit hungry. As usual, he readily found a volunteer to help him eat his Jelly Babies.

Brian is contemplating his new painting......his inspiration for this was part "Starry Night" and part Monet. As usual, Brian doesn't know if he really likes it.... #art #aberdeenart #acrylic #acrylicpainting #scottishart #acrylics #monkey #monkeyartists #abstractart

Meet the team #2
Say hello 👋 to Bruce, noble descendant of the Clan McMunky. Bruce likes a more traditional approach and favours landscapes and Scottish buildings as subject matter.
