I had a crafty phase from 2007-2015ish where I made a whole army of felt creatures with library teens, as gifts for friends, for sale at farmers markets and a whole crew of Monkeybutts for my wedding in 2012. One monkey even travelled around the world with a marine biologist.

The Steamboat Monkeyflower is tiny. Consider this flower is <11 mm across (≈½ the size of my index fingernail). And tiny flowers need even tinier pollinators. This minuscule fly found a cozy place to overnight. Wake up & pollinate!
