After that we walked around Ubud a bit and went to eat in a warung next to some rice terrasses. It was pretty and a lot less noisy than the immediate center. Sadly no time for monkey forest after that.

Next stop was the water temple. You can't visit the actual temple anymore, but the pond area in front is super pretty (even if they really transformed it into something super flashy and tourist-ey compared to its original look xD;;; )

Time to move to the second hotel, in Gili Trawangan! Some car, 2 hours in a boat and then a horse carriage (!) and we were there. It was so pretty and romantic, and we got upgraded to a pool access room, which was AMAZING
