The black-and-white image features a surreal and striking scene in an urban setting. In the center stands a colossal sculpture of a pigeon—towering over a bustling crowd of people. The sculpture is hyper-realistic and looms dramatically against a backdrop of modern and industrial-style buildings. The enormous bird, with detailed feathers and a focused gaze, dwarfs the pedestrians who are gathered around its base. Many of the people appear to be observing or interacting with the statue, and some children are climbing on the ledge where it stands. The image captures a mix of curiosity, wonder, and playfulness in the crowd. Skyscrapers and reflective glass buildings form a dramatic urban skyline behind the pigeon. Text at the top right corner reads: “© Gregory Fothman 2024.”
