Our wonderful little town of Mosier is well known for its wildflower hikes, but few people realize how early our wildflower season starts. My wife found the first Grass Widow of the season yesterday afternoon.

We often get rainbows in Mosier in the shoulder seasons, but this beautiful, bright, at times double rainbow in mid-December is a treat.

#harvest2025 rolls on. Syrah is nearly ready for pressing. Fermentation has progressed nicely and the cap (skins and other grape material floated to the surface by CO2) is starting to break down.
