Oh brother, are we getting into a pedantic discussion on what a TV show is? Sorry, not interested. I'm just saying that while Turner considers Moxy an original show, it's more along the lines of a compilation show than a true original lol.

The Moxy Show is more of a compilation show more than anything else. Same with The Rudy and Gogo Show and The Bugs Bunny Show. It's not really a fully original show. I don't get why some people can't understand this.

Plus let me just push up my nerd glasses and point out that The Moxy Show is listed on Wikipedia as a "Anthology Television Series". If they care that much about technicalities, they can go ahead and re-edit the show's page to appease themselves...

I've had people tell me I'm stupid for thinking Moxy was a show and not a programming block because of the amount of original animation, and I told them that's not how that works and the Moxy material is important to Cartoon Network history even if it wasn't, but this will help

I mean... people loved Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes when those boys had a solid spot on the Boomerang schedule. If we count them, why not Moxy?

As for the legal, there was a legal something between Time Warner and Warner Communications in 2003 where they had to list about everything they had, and guess what was #00042 among the Cartoon Network shows while any programing blocks were not listed

Im going to keep this simple with my two best examples of each, the best promotional evidence I have being a bit from a press release saying that Moxy had his show and interstitials too

So The Moxy Pirate Show wasn't concerned interstaicals while airing, unlike something like Toonami

Also one thing that I feel the need to share if I haven't already

I know some people have told me "I don't think the Moxy Show really counts as a show because of the format"

My associate Screwball has found both promotional and legal material saying the Moxy Pirate Show is a TV show

The Moxy Show and Cartoon Planet were pretty similar all things considered, I just know Moxy is marked as a CN show internally while Cartoon Planet isn't, and I think that's in part because Cartoon Planet was originally on TBS as a programing block before the CN skit show cuts
