Mosjoukine was ridiculously versatile, comfortable in romance, comedy, action, drama... historical or modern, pick your flavor.

He was also versatile in the spelling of his name in Roman letters. It's sometimes Mozzhukhin, Mosukin, Mosjoukin... just as long as people were buying tickets.

Mozzhukhin meets the devil. dcairns.wordpress.com/2025/05/11/t...

Also, you might see his name spelled Mozzhukhin or Mosjoukin or Mosjukine or Moskine...

I use Mosjoukine because it was the spelling used during his period in France, which was the height of his international fame and star power, but I don't actually think he cared as long as you bought tickets.

The pencil keeps it but they were quite inconsistent back then (see Mosjoukine, Mosukine, Moskine, Mozzhukhin, Mosjoukin)

Mozzhukhin/Mosjoukine!!!!!

The actor Ivan Mozzhukhin, the one that the author and Tamara had admired so often on the white screen, dressed as a Cherkessian. #Nabokov24 #SpeakMemory

One Exciting Night is an excruciating 128 minutes of dull-as-dishwater Carol Dempster.

Looking forward to hate-watching Brute Force. I like Robert Harron and Mae Marsh.

Surrender is why international superstar Ivan Mozzhukhin only made one US movie.

I MISS YOU 💔💔💔

very Mozzhukhin when he inadvertently interrupted a film shooting taking place in early 1918 in Crimea"
