I remember cats trying to recreate Erick Sermon beats for years and not being able to do it, we thought it was a skill issue. While that was also true, we had NO idea he was using a Roland W-30, not an SP-12, SP-1200, S900, S950, MPC60, Ensoniq EPS (Plus) or the ASR-10.
