For some US ballpark numbers, hybrids + EVs were 19.2% of MY 2024 production. Weighted average MPG in refined product terms (eg, not EPA MPG calc of 99.9 for BEVs), the hybrid + gasoline new vehicle fleet got 44.0 MPG versus 24.8 MPG for ICE-only. Weighted that way, fleet MPG for MY was 29.5 MPG.
Are electric vehicles denting oil demand? Yes.
By how much? 1.5 million barrels of oil a day, according to EV Curve Futurist.
Caveat: These estimates are hard, but the numbers are certainly adding up.

I'm a proponent of cars being listed by something like mean cost per 1,000 miles.
The cost of a fill up may be immediately felt but over the course of a month or a year it isn't the most relevant.
Also highlights how 16 mpg vs 13 mpg is much better than 46 mpg vs 43 mpg.
