Scumtree, I've always called it. eBay own it too, so they've got both socio-economic brackets covered, legal or otherwise.

Will never buy or sell there and never have had the barest inkling to do so. Mplace has enough 'special' idiots to plague sellers, but it's marginally better than Scumtree.

Una conocida hizo un IG de cosas de bebé y usó hashtags, además promocionaba en grupos de FB y anuncios en marketplace apuntando al IG. Me dijo, le llegaban mejores clientes que en Mplace directamente.

También hizo combos de cosas atractivas con otras de menos tránsito para sacar todo rapidito.

I watched the Mplace for people giving away windows,travelled to three surrounding states (I'm in upstate NY) to get them. Also got cement blocks and bricks very cheap as well as some huge shrub covers I will use reclaimed lumber from. I live on a hill with almost constant wind. Plastic blows away.

I work at one of the "better" companies (they only do MCare/MCaid/MPlace plans and their claims denial rate is -below- the nat. avg.). The day after the shooting, our CEO sent out an "oh my goodness what a tragedy" email to all employees.

Strangely, I couldn't be moved to sympathy for the fuck.

As I listened to NPR (I know Mplace is APM) breathlessly report on the trillions in proposed budget "savings," I thought to myself: reporting this as if it's a serious proposal means the next admin has already won. The narrative already exists that they are tough on spending.
