They provide a different service, that’s why you probably use both As I do. People will Either choose one or the other with PlayStation/xbox. that is my interpretation. Microsoft moves more to PC the more it becomes steam/MSstore

ye this one will always be funny, its also funny what they did to bring old cod to the msstore.
mw2 is recompiled with 64bit target and a bunch of stuff stripped.
cod4.. is an old cod4 binary and they made a wrapper to handle the xbox stuff.
and of course nothing is compatible with existing versions

ドライブの負荷分散が目的ですわ。

Removing "msstore" from the winget source list is one of the first things I do when I set up a new machine
The Microsoft Store is full of low quality slop/garbage, which I don't want to accidentally install in case i make typos.
All legit/real/win32 deskop software is in the "winget" source anyways

i had to download two msstore apps with winget, but it’s still blazing fast
My Steam library is nearly 500. I've several titles on many other platforms. GOG, Epic, PS, MSStore, etc.
THEN I also have boxes. Lots of them. With manuals and printed fabric maps. Pewter figurines, etc.
I'm afraid to count them all. (Also, boxes stuff is in storage)
