#multisow
We multisow into seed trays, six seeds per module, then pot up the clump once well rooted and germinated, showing true leaves. That way you get a nice pot full of Coriander 🌱

No, I plant in a patch. I multisow onion and shallot seeds as is a method Charles Dowding uses. It works very well for me. You can see here how full one of my patches is before harvest.

I think they can get bigger from seed, also you rarely lose any due to bolting which is a thing with sets and it's easier to multisow, growing them in clumps of 2-4 plants which helps pack them in, plus you can get a bigger range of varieties when you use seed.

Better to multisow beetroots, they like growing together and crop brilliantly.
