The Murujuga rock art is one of Australia's most priceless heritage sites.

And it's being slowly destroyed.

If Environment Minister Murray Watt approves the 50 year extension to the North West Shelf, it will be a death sentence for Murujuga.

As Murray Watt signs the death warrant for an ancient treasure, we've launched a new documentary.

The Fight to Save Murujuga lays out the ironclad evidence that the government has ignored in granting one of Australia’s biggest polluters, Woodside Energy, a licence to destroy Murujuga. #savemurujuga

The Government has revealed conditions for Woodside's North West Shelf gas project approval: strict limits on nitrous oxide pollution.

Woodside says the conditions are "not technically feasible."

If the project isn't feasible without damaging Murujuga, it shouldn't be allowed to go ahead. #auspol

Let’s be cleared eyed about what’s happened here.

The Australian Government has misrepresented scientific evidence to successfully lobby UNESCO members to ditch conditions to protect Murujuga from Woodside’s acid gas emissions.

This is all about protecting Woodside, not Murujuga.

Approving Woodside's huge gas export plant for another 50 years would mean approving:

🔴 Higher energy bills for West Australians
🔴 90 million tonnes of emissions per year (as much as 12 coal power stations)
🔴 Destroying ancient Murujuga rock art

And for what? They pay minimal royalties & no PRRT.

The priceless rock art at Murujuga has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Register.

But emissions from the North West Shelf gas export hub still threaten to destroy it.
