Dahlia in the morning sun. This plant amazingly thrive under a canopy of neighbors' cherry and magnolia trees. It's getting mostly filtered sunlight. I planted 6 tubers n only 3 sprouted. Better luck next yr!!.

My 'puddle, pebble pond'. It is shallow about 30 cms and the birds love it. It also attracts water boatmen, pond skaters, water beetles, damselflies and bees.
