Quick sketch of hypnagogic image. “Just a face, looking up, with ponytails. or something on the sides of the head. Not clearly male or female but something about it made me think of the Cat in the Hat.”

Hypnagogic image for today. #mymindseye #dreams #sketchbook #innervisions #hypnagogic #dailydrawing #adobefresco #digitaldrawing
Quick digital drawing of a hand holding a teddy bear like toy with a bowl where its belly should be. Accompanied by text that reads: “hypnagogic image 2/20/25 an image of a hand holding a little toy stuffed animal that was also a bowl. It seemed an impractical way to eat anything that could be messy.”

Jan 22 Hypnagogic Image remembered. Life is just a bag of cherries. 😘 🍒 #photography #mymindseye #dreams #sketchbook #innervisions #hypnagogic #dailydrawing #watercolor #naturalhistory #adobefresco #digitaldrawing
Digital drawing of a brown paper bag full of chocolate covered cherries with text that reads: “Jan 22, 2025: no hypnagogic image remembered from last night, just this one from a dream: a bag of chocolate-covered cherries In the dream I was dependent on a person who I don't really know (that 1 met in real life recently) and they left me high and dry, I had the cherries, though.”

Warp for 4 towels using an alternating thread gradient for a very smooth color transition vs solid stripes. I plan to change the treadling so each towel has a different weft pattern. My color choices were partially inspired by a poster I designed years ago. #handwoven #handweavingacademy #mymindseye

Still trying to grab hypnagogic images as I drift off to sleep. There have been a couple of wild coincidences around these that I’ll fill you in on later—it’s a fun thing, the astral plane. 😘 #photography #mymindseye #dreams #innervisions #hypnagogic #dailydrawing #adobefresco #digitaldrawing
A quick digital drawing sketch made with adobe fresco of a stag’s silhouette seen from behind, looking past silhouetted foliage and up at a dark blue night sky. Text reads: Hypnagogic Image 1/30/25 a stag seen from behind in silhouette at night.” Quick digital drawing sketch of the corner of a Turkish rug, patterned and colored in pinks, oranges, and greens. Handwritten text reads: “Hypnagogic Image 1/23or24/2025 Just a glimpse of a very ugly Turkish rug. I just remember thinking, "No one would make a rug in those bubblegum pinks."
