Its some sort of autoimmune myopathy which they’ve not named yet by similar to known ones & the treatment for them (steroids) work & we are hoping it will ‘burn itself out’ by the time I’ve tailed off & finished the steroids. In the meantime exercise… and #TheArchers of course!

Niacin is a vitamin that lowers cholesterol. High doses of with lovastatin can cause serious muscle disorders (myopathy). But doses as low as 500 mg 3x daily with lovastatin can enhance its cholesterol-lowering effect. Patients on lovastatin should ask their doctor before using niacin.
