Happened to us, except it was because the roof was 15 years old. Got it replaced and could have paid a bit more for a longer warranty, but insurers wouldn't recognize that. On the plus side, we got help from MySafeFloridaHome to pay 4 the new roof

Happened to us, except our roof was 15 years old. Could have gotten a better roof w/a longer warranty, but what's the point to get a 50-year roof if you have to replace it in 15? On the plus side, we got help paying for the new roof from MySafeFloridaHome program, which kicked in 10 grand
