This always happens at least twice at 1/3 & 2/3. I don't know why. I don't make the rules. I'm not in charge of this wheelbarrow. It just always happens. Then I try to fix it & add another 10k. Every time I try to write under the expected wordcount I end up sailing over it anyway. #MyWritingProcess

November 2023 and January 2024 I wrote 90k words of a WIP in a fever pitch and when it was over it had the AUDACITY to not be done.

That felt personal

9pm and I'm working on an essay I've been writing since 2018. It's coming together. Word by word. Each one deeply heartbreaking and painful. I am so proud of how it's developing.

Not knowing how to start the damn thing.
Getting stuck on one line for 30+ minutes.
Snack break!
Distracted by Sounds.
Peeing.
