Oh, the XL models all share the same battery. It's really only the small N3DS that has it's own special battery. But it can also technically use the CTR-003, though it's lower capacity.

I will add touch support eventually but getting here was already a lot of work and I want to finally close up this N3DS XL. Getting the c-stick perfect is not a goal for me, just good enough.

Then I skipped the Wii U and only got the 3DS and later N3DS XL. It was good but didn't got many games because there weren't many big games aside from Zelda OoT3D Zelda MM3D and few others. Thankfully Nintendo got his groove back during the Switch and (thankfully) continued that on the Switch 2(4/4)

I always thought that they didn't release the n3ds in america originally because lmoa america big so they must use the xl only but apparently it was "to avoid confusion" which is either hypercorrecting following on from the wii u release or they had no confidence in the american public of 2015

The four-player screenshots were captured in Azahar, not on four real consoles. An N3DS-EK audio issue is reported.

Oh yes ! I've not been too active online but rn im on the process of restoring my old 3ds ! and today the touch screen replacement arrived but they sent me the n3ds xl one instead ! oh well. Is not like the original has any problems just a small scratch.
