made the brave decision to tell twitter i’ve been on ozempic for 1.5 years for my nafld and digestion issues after losing my gallbladder and only one person was crazy about it
@theashleyray.bsky.social I just saw your gallbladder thread on the birb app and while I knew that O had really important medical uses, I did not know that the gallbladder/NAFLD use case was one. Am super tempted to talk to my doctor now, as I lost mine after kiddo was born.

anyway, this medicine has turned my life around. i can eat without throwing up or getting constant diarrhea now. my nafld is almost gone. my body absorbs nutrients again and i’m not pale and yellow anymore. sorry to everyone who hopes it kills me

Those could be causes but I would put NAFLD at the top of the list given lifestyle, diet, body habits.

Excellent question. There is liver disease associated with Covid alone (CALI) but a very possible scenario is that Covid took an underlying condition such as NAFLD and made it critically worse.

Yep. This. My spouse was prescribed Wegovy for his heart and NAFLD, but we couldn't afford it. Any and all medical applications for this drug and its variations are ignored by the press as their coverage makes it sound as frivolous as possible.

Hey friends, I'm sick. I see a new specialist tomorrow. I have survived brain cancer, I live with epilepsy, Diabetes & a heart valve defect, I have just been told I have pretty bad NAFLD with Cirrhosis.
