A graphic with some light pink and golden accents and some cherry blossoms. On the left side there’s an icon of a chibi version of Hua Cheng.
Under that icon, some text reads: “NamelessFlower. Writer. @flowercityism (twitter) @hualianisms (Tumblr) @namelessflower (bsky + AO3). ‘Love of words, stories, yuri/yaoi yearning, angst, catharsis & healing’”.
On the right side, there is a sneak peek of some writing: “The divine statue alone stood as if untouched by the passage of time, its splendor unsullied, unmarred by neither dust nor erosion. The artisan had captured Mu Qing’s likeness perfectly: his graceful beauty the deftness of his hands, the elegant set of his shoulders. Every bit the glorious, magnificent deity.
Xie Lian didn’t know how long he stood there, gazing at the statue, at that beautiful face: at once close enough to touch, and the farthest thing in the world”.
On the bottom left, it says “Dewdrops at dawn”, adorned with more cherry blossoms.

☀️CONTRIBUTOR SPOTLIGHT🌙

maybe one day, quan yizhen will be allowed to return home to yin yu in this heartwrenching fic by namelessflower...

...but in the meantime, the quanyin zine is DEFINITELY coming home to YOU on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 16 !!

writer: namelessflower
text excerpt: Through crowded streets and dark alleyways, through winding roads and leaf-strewn paths, you ran blindly, desperately, towards Shixiong, towards the boy who’d given you a home all those years ago, towards the man who’d later forsaken you, towards the only person in the world who had ever spoken to you with gentleness and warmth, towards the very same person who had nearly killed you… Towards the one and only home that you had ever known.

first off, namelessflower? adore that, borrowing it for when i need to give hc an anonymous username 1000%
second, hc having drawn the whole thing years ago is SO GOOD. he didnt voice it (thatd probably give him away, instead it was yin yu whos voice is so... Typical, no one ever would realize)

The video details things that only someone who was there at the time should know. Every single frame is impeccably drawn. The URL of the account that posted it is NamelessFlower and the video itself has millions of views, the majority of those picked up in the past couple of days—

Got reminded about this AU I wrote bc I'm trying to come up with usernames for XL in coffin AU and I remembered how good "namelessflower" was as a user for HC so you get a repost

Thinking about this again because ugh. Former actor Xie Lian who did all his own stunts and is a martial arts pro who got blacklisted from the industry after a "scandal" where he defended one of the (unrepresented) child actors and pissed off the well known highly respected (shitty) director —

your eyes in the sun by namelessflower
summary: Yin Yu hadn't known that it could be like this. That existing on this earth could feel so… tranquil. Not the bone-grinding, slow trudge of work, not the suffocating weight of endless expectations and impossible standards to live up to. Not the silent nights spent all alone in his room, haunted by all his life's mistakes and regrets.

But this. Strolling down a beach at sunset, hand in hand with his shidi. Being loved so wholly and ardently, as if he were something special and precious, someone truly worth all this painstaking effort.
