the only thing I can think of that would eat a Narceus are Phengodes / glowworms, and I assume they are too fussy and specialized for suburban living

it's getting a little colder at night now, so Narceus giant millipedes have been intentionally entering the house. unfortunately there are not a lot of wet leaves in here, otherwise I wouldn't even need to put them back. their calming presence improves every scenario

Many myriapods spend a good deal of effort giving their offspring the best possible start in life, even if they don’t provide direct care. This female Narceus seals each egg in wood pulp and feces, carefully molding these protective capsules (and first meals) with her legs and mouthparts.

tried to google what species of Narceus this is, one of the first results is an official UF page calling them annoying. they live in dirt and eat dead leaves Sharon, I think being annoyed is a you problem

I was happier to see this giant Narceus millipede in hill country yesterday than it was to see me. It curled into this defensive spiral and just sat there. Made a nice photo, though. With bonus mites, if you look closely.
