#nationbuilder
Any aspiring nationbuilder has to actually carry their nation with them and not drop loose bits at every turn.

For those unaware of this action that will now go to trial - and I will support - and maybe you will, too.

Remember NationBuilder fro Brexit (& Trump elections?).

Refuk tried to wriggle out of the consequences of using it to collect data on you and me. Yet that’s the reason they use it.

Ah! NationBuilder again

I wonder if ReFuk is mashing their data together with Bank’s Insurance company data still, as Leave EU/ UKIP did?

and like. it's regressive and vile but i think more importantly it's fucking boring storytelling. it would be interesting if clive had to grapple with the fact that, as a nationbuilder, he is instituting his own heirarchy even as he overthrows the previous one. that's the heart of good fantasy!

Take a look at NationBuilder, the Andreesson/Horowitz, Fanning, Thiel gotv opp that managed to get Ds to pay to share their data to Rs who pay to target them.

I was born to drink a fancy sugary drink, not wonder why I'm locked out of my NationBuilder account

The idea that NationBuilder is "the same" as this Victory app is hilarious. I wish someone would do an actual side-by-side comparison to blow the Sun's claim out of the water.

According to this, the JavaScript just calls a NationBuilder (a database management tool for political parties) API. The JavaScript itself seems aboveboard, so if there's fakery, it must be in the NationBuilder backend - which Kemi shouldn't have access to x.com/richardhylan...

“Richard Tice has never explained how he came to swear a central fact – denying Reform’s use of NationBuilder – which turned out to be simply untrue. The Civil Procedure Rules talk about this stuff being contempt of court – and at the very least it is cavalier with the truth.”

I was at a Q&A with Horowitz and the founder of NationBuilder. It became clear that neither the guest nor the moderator had read the book.

This guy got rich by posting copyrighted rap lyrics. Never forget.

Sounds literally like the default social media sharing prompts in NationBuilder or Solidarity Tech.

Surely they can get something more exciting than that! I hear the campaigns even got famous musicians to give endorsements. Musicians!!!

This was a really cool campaign to help get started! I even managed to make Nationbuilder produce a half-decent website! www.williamforvancouver.ca

Anyone know how to use Nationbuilder?
Can a white person who isn’t in a car rn please make a Google doc with email templates for bsky? It would be helpful to get a group working on sending emails

Ha. Reform collects data on people for their voter-targeting tool, NationBuilder (which is definitely not a name you’d come up with if you were inventing an evil plot codename for a novel).

Now they’re going to have to stand in the High Court and explain what they’ve been doing with that data.

Andressen is still mad that he dropped a bunch of cash into the Nationbuilder flop.
Pretty weird take. If people come out eventually for fascism [that's what it is, really] and the dismantling of the rule of law and fair markets, I don't see how you can retrospectively blame this on Democrat progressives. Andreasson himself is a complete fool.

The Nationbuilder software platform used by political parties is surveillance capitalism applied to politics.

And using information provided to an organisation for one purpose (media contact) for another (election adverts) will feel off to many people

I wonder what the Privacy Commissioner thinks?
How does ACT know where I live? The curious case of an unsolicited campaign text: The local body candidate said it was a “hunch” - the truth behind campaign machines is far more intriguing.

Do not use nationbuilder.
It might be the biggest scandal in election tech. Charged Dems to sell their data to Republicans. Board is a Whos Who of wannabe oligarchs.

This political cartoon gets at the vapid nature of the Carney government (read Canadian oligarchy’s) #NationBuilder programs. They build wealth for resource developers, but will do little for most Canadians. #cdnpoli
