Was gonna do that insta trend of drawing your fav characters to Sienna by the Marías... until I realised natsume fit all the lyrics AND the 'what your kid would be like' theme. So I made an entire natsuyuu animatic instead

With the Souko arc finally animated I do have to bring back this old art I did about natsume and reiko having the same type: stubborn sickly kids

Natsume Yuujinchou fan art of Reiko laying alone in a field of blue flowers. She has a somber expression. A second illustration showing Natsume and Tanuma lying in the same field, though there are now less flowers. Tanuma looks at Natsume curiously, while Natsume looks nervous/embarrassed.

Been working on a zine version of that Natsuyuu themed Oh Sienna animation thing I made and really liked how the cover came out, so I'm posting it here too (minus the text of course)

Digital art of Natsume Reiko from Natsume Yuujinchou with her back to the audience holding her baseball bat. Names from the book trail behind her, along with a handfull of blue flowers and petals. The colours and painterly style make her look faded and distant.

Natsume Takashi laying down in an old brick circle-shaped window, holding a book and looking at the viewer with a relaxed expression. Nyanko-sensei is sitting in the middle of the window on a wooden frame. There are some treetops in the background and the sunset sky. Natsume Reiko sitting in the same old brick circle-shaped window, holding one of her knees up, looking to the side with a relaxed expression. There are some treetops in the background and the sunset sky.

A photo of my new natsuyuu zine, inspired by the Oh Sienna trend that was going around instagram based on the song Sienna by the Marías. It features Reiko standing with her back to the viewer holding a baseball bat. Text reads: Oh Takashi. A Natsume's Book of friends fan zine. Surrounding the zine are blue and yellow fake flowers. An interior photo of the zine, showing a spread of Natsume and Tanuma sitting in front of shoji doors with the pond's reflection on them. Text reads: Jumping in the pool, Like you.
