Small conversations with students as they were rotating to pick books for book clubs the other day, and one commented that “she’s really good at selling these.” Suddenly realized my job at Naturalizer, selling shoes to cranky old ladies, was probably the best training I ever got for teaching.
I have long believed that the left has *way* too little respect for people who are good at sales - and maybe it’s time to change that

On one hand, I love her. On the other hand, she's spilling secrets. I don't need her out here running up prices. Dolce Vita and Naturalizer have been staples for the big calf girls with tiny wallets forever.
