/2 I can generally guess who it is who has posted about me by the nature of the emails I get. Jesse’s fans are more literate than, say, Elon’s fans, but more likely to mock what I have written about mental health, and more pretentious in general.

Me (idiot, barely literate): "These computers sure are seeming more like human beings in a way that are forcing a lot of uncomfortable questions about the nature of humanity on us!"

Philosophers and intellectuals (PhDs, decades of advanced study): "hahaha look! it's trying to think! how pathetic!"

A smart student busted me at the event in Rotterdam for betraying my own previous method but I think part of what makes this moment/movement unique is its post-literate nature, how it breaks with the book➡️ think tank➡️policy model which was more helpful to explain neoliberalism.

Honeybee hives, especially in urban areas, are mostly *harmful* to nature - and it's rather like promoting chicken factory farms to help us connect with wild birds. When will we become more nature-literate?

Read.

Even if it's minor stuff or reading articles about things I like (ex: nature, space, etc), I just read. I wanna keep my brain sharp and keep myself literate.

the part that scares me most is literacy really begins and comes from your home. i was... preciously literate because of nature/nurture and kids grow up in homes today that quite literally don't have any books in them

In 1801, Appleseed moved into Ohio, traveling ahead of settlers to gather seeds from cider mills and establish orchards. Unlike most white settlers, he didn’t try to conquer the land or drive away Indigenous tribes. He shared their reverence for nature and learned their languages and customs. /6

Make the most of this lovely sunny Spring day.. get out in NATURE..

NOTICE what you see - where is the unordinary in the ordinary?

NAME it - identity helps us care..

NURTURE - nature is our future.

All dwarfs are by nature dutiful, serious, literate, obedient and thoughtful people whose only minor failing is a tendency, after one drink, to rush at enemies screaming "Arrrrrrgh!" and axing their legs off at the knee.
