im not sure if anyone can use this as #NatureReference or #ArtReference or maybe edit it into #3D #Textures, but i scanned a leaf from my Australian Lemon Leaf that broke off, and i really like how easy it is to see the leaf veins and segments
a edit of my leaf scan with the front side on the left and on the right the back side of the leaf, cut out sharp, and with a solid dark grey background because bsky cant handle PNGs. the front of the leaf has a slightly brown spot around the tip of the leaf which is damage from sun in this year of the godzilla el nino. the leaf has a darker green on top with a ligher almost pastel green on the back. the color of the leaf gets influenced by its most notable characteristic which is a fuzzy fluff that is covering the plant, including each leaf and their stems, this fluff diffuses light and literally makes the color look softer just like light boxes diffuse light to make it look softer. the fluffy fuzz also makes each vein extrude physically and visually more on the backside, making it in my opinion a nice reference to study leaf veins and how they work.
