It's giving NBN multi-technology mix costing vibes.
Coalition hires gun-for-hire economists to single-handedly run costings on its nuclear suggestion, inevitably alleges nuclear cheaper than renewable roll-out, numbers treated with the same authority as CSIRO and others.
Coalition claims nuclear plan $263b cheaper than renewables rollout
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton will release long-awaited costings for his proposal to build nuclear reactors on Friday, ensuring energy is a key election issue.

ABC News reported today that about failures in TV & NBN in NT, and energy costs on East Coast likely to rise again. This isn’t surprising.
Many of us warned years ago that delaying renewables and downgrading the NBN would come back to bite us.
Now the bills are arriving.

How the fuck do we live in a country where Malcolm Turnbull’s Liberal-NATIONAL Party completely fucked up the NBN yet now that very same National Party are whining about a lack of internet connectivity in the bush?

@mammonmachine.bsky.social, @dimosar.bsky.social, and I have decided that Marathon should add a big entertainment/broadcasting corp like Netrunner's NBN, and they should give you contracts for doing Epic Streamer Clips and completing runs with brand-covered Sponsored Kits.

We'll finish the NBN, and keep it in public hands.

Because Australians deserve high-speed internet at an affordable price.

Finishing the rollout of high-speed internet, and keeping the NBN in public hands, is part of building Australia’s future.

If mobile access is so important to the Nats, why did they let Telstra be privatised without ensuring their constituents were protected?
Why did they oppose Labor's NBN?

I think the NBN wasn't an election issue because the Coalition didn't have an NBN policy (or many other policies)

I watched Barnyard at a town hall prior to an election ridiculing the NBN saying it was not needed because what was currently available was good enough to watch movies!
Yes the LNP well and truly f**ked the NBN with their reactionary ideology.

Libs might want to think twice b4 they use the NBN to Labor-bash.

Folks might remember Labor’s FTTP plan to 96% of Australian premises.

Coalition scrapped all that & tried to fix up the old system for Murdoch.

Labor’s full fibre now is necessary & costly
