I’m so vexed I actually misread the quote. Brown is saying that parents of disabled people – like her and me are voiceless. Also not true. We are well organized in various ways with considerable political influence. Often pernicious and bad influence (NDSS under previous leadership, autism speaks)

All this. I remember when the 2019 NDSS came out and every low thinker ran to lethality first. I would always say "Y'know, there are three other goals of the NDSS & if you focus on those too it generates a lower probability of having to rely only on the lethality thingy."
Apparently this comment was too spicy for @nationalreview.bsky.social which deleted it. Guess no one’s allowed to throw darts at Rich Lowry. Anyway; my thoughts on the pointless argument over “lethality:”
