Spent the morning and afternoon out West today, showing support for Darin Tompkins for Nebraska. Then I rushed back for the Denise Powell for Congress and Christy Knorr for Nebraska joint canvass.
A full day of supporting good candidates, knocking doors, and building a better Nebrakska.

Spent the morning and afternoon out West today, showing support for Darin Tompkins for Nebraska. Then I rushed back for the Denise Powell for Congress and Christy Knorr for Nebraska joint canvass.

This is easily the dumbest take I've ever heard @mcuban.bsky.social make. If all public colleges and universities governing bodies are elected, they would have an incentive to keep things low cost. Many states like Nebrakska, already have this.
You can’t make all colleges free. Thats a license for them to jack up tuition to the government. It’s what they did when student loans became available to anyone and couldn’t be released in bankruptcy
States should parter with Community colleges and a single 4 year per DMA to be free.

All colleges should be free for everyone that wants to attend. Tutoring should be available at no cost for anyone who needs assistance.
