#neighbouring
For the sake of your country and our neighbouring one and many others around the world, Americans need to go out and vote. Make it a blue tsunami. Take precautions, by all means, but vote and prepare to fight afterwards, if and when and where they try to fuck with it.

So the contractors working on an extension to a neighbouring house managed to get concrete into a sewer line that runs under our property. Now Watercare is trying to clear it via a manhole under our deck – and we've been advised to keep our toilet lids down, which is very reassuring.

I heard this last night.
I wondered if the US west or east coast were closer to Iran...
Then I thought: Iran is annihilating US bases in neighbouring countries, and hindering its shipments thro' the Strait of Hormuz - which is all it needs to warn US off further attacks on its own soil, surely..

I think that plague spreading - and yeah, I believe it will spread, or its already spreading now - will destroy whatever is left from russian tourism.

And no, other countries neighbouring are definitely not buying into Kremlins claims that everything is under control.

State level is where search data stops being a ranking and starts being a map. Neighbouring states rarely look as alike as you would expect.

Because the nitrate test categories are ordered, it also cares where the rest of the predicted probability went. Predicting the neighbouring swatch is penalised less than predicting one at the other end of the chart.

RPS = Σ(F_j − O_j)²,

with 0 being perfect.

and maybe tape it to the dashboard if I were driving solo.
I have an interesting situation today -- I have to go out to a neighbouring town to do a traffic study. The online map the project is using didn't have my site location marked on it. I had to use a paper map and different mapping websites

from what i've noticed in our neighbouring countries i've always THOUGHT to be the same over there, but now i guess i'm not familiarised enough with them to know for sure. esp since here in brazil gringo = non-brazilian, while elsewhere it's mostly for english-speakers specifically

Equally quite a lot of Jewish people were expelled from neighbouring states so did not in fact have a lot of choice about where to go

Miami Beach’s Savoy Hotel dates to the 1930s and survived decades on Ocean Drive; Florida laws could now allow most of it and the neighboring Arlington to be demolished for a 38-story, 480-foot tower
Photo credit: State Archives of Florida/FloridaMemory.com The Savoy Hotel has stood on Miami Beach’s Ocean Drive since 1937, a low-rise Art Deco landmark in a neighbourhood defined by that style. Now, a plan filed by Allied Partners would demolish most of the Savoy and the neighbouring Arlington Hotel to make way for a 38-story, 480-foot tower designed by Arquitectonica. The project relies on Florida’s Live Local Act to bypass local zoning limits and on the Resiliency and Safe Structures Act to allow demolition of flood-vulnerable historic buildings, according to WLRN and project filings.

A woman in Leeds says her first home will become impossible to sell after her neighbour knocked down his side of their semi-detached house.

Leeds City Council says the house was pulled down without the right permission, but says the neighbouring property remains structurally safe.

Wonderful 👍 A favourite of mine too... we are lucky to see them often around our garden but we have many neighbouring very tall Scotts Pine trees and they tend to like being high up and well hidden! 😄

As a Scot, I don't want a party in the neighbouring country that supports nuclear power.
I am so disappointed in GPEW.

Here’s a strange definition of sovereignty:

Your government gains the power to stop you moving freely to 27 neighbouring countries.

You lose the power to do it.

Brexit transferred control.

Just not in the direction we were promised.

75% of the 140,000 Jews of the Netherlands were murdered during WW2. The highest number in western Europe. By comparison, in the neighbouring countries of Belgium, 45% were murdered&25% in France.
Not one family was left unhurt. After WW2, 25% of the survivors, feeling unwanted emigrated elsewhere.

Right, so if Germany *were* attacking its neighbours again and building settlements on their land, you'd support abolishing the entire state and moving millions of people from neighbouring countries into their territory to make ethnic Germans a minority there?

I'm also out of my expertise! The comparison with Iron Dome is indeed absurd - that's for short-range missiles from neighbouring territories. But I doubt whether ships can defend themselves, let alone defend a big island.
