I also liked how "Galadriel" could reasonably, with a bit of squinting, be translated to mean the same thing as "Gwendolen". Galadriel really means "shining garland", not "white ring", but close enough!

I feel like after she has to take off Nenya there’s a great case for her making her mirror to have further ability to see, make up for the loss of Nenya until she can wear it again. Also, she’s essentially a queen in that she has the lembas recipe, which is kept by queens only
