...it doesn't deserve that. Yes, there IS this awful #neo-LePenist "ni droite, ni gauche" doctrine that has allowed unsavory elements in so many Pirate parties to steer them away from the humanitarian, democratic, anti-racist, anti-colonial principles of the Pirate ideology. (13/16)

... #neofascist, #homotransphobic Rick Falkvinge, they've gone full-on #alt-right and have made a complete mockery of #PiratePolitics. If Pirates are to remain relevant, they need to quit their "we don't take a stand on matters outside of copyright blahblahblah" and their #neo-LePenist... (12/21)

Second, the #neo-LePenist "not left, not right, we're just tech" BS that Falkvinge et al forced down every Pirate's throats enabled even Holocaust deniers to not only join your party, but stick around, forcing the likes of Martin Delius to leave in disgust. What were you thinking? (3/16)

Indeed. Besides the stupid publicity antics, it was the built-in provision for the ideological and political erosion of the #Pirates: the #neo-LePenist "neither left nor right" bullshit that allowed ppl friendly to the far right to push progressives out.
The #PirateMovement failed mainly because it was backdoored by its founders from the beginning to allow Quislings for corrupt, fascist governments to seize control of it.

Second, our take on the dangerous, #neo-LePenist "ni droite, ni gauche" approach that burdens the #PirateMovement since it started and allowed far-right elements to take over national parties and transnational Pirate organizations like the #PPEU & #PPI: www.pirateparty.gr/2025/02/upro...
