after something like 10 years post coming out, still not having changed the image she has of me is hurting me pretty bad. I understand that using neopronouns is not really intuitive for everyone but I did get across that being he/himed is so much more hurtful than being she/hered.

I had trans characters, neopronouns, and diversity (personality & appearance wise) as a kid WAY before I knew what any of those following words meant!
I viewed everything as creative before "political", and people who struggle making diverse worlds are not just "not woke", but purely uncreative.

I am being completely unironic when I say this: if your worldbuilding does not account for trans people, you have bad worldbuilding.

So called “neopronouns” are not real. They are a sign of mental illness. There are only a few genders at most, with the rest being variations or fluctuations between them. People need to stop supporting delusions and get people the fucking help they so clearly DESPERATELY fucking need!

I do not personally use neopronouns, but I did consider it when I had something of a label crisis last year. I also have a dear friend who does. To my understanding, there aren't really hard rules? Like nya uses "nya/purr" as purr pronouns. I think you just find something that vibes and use those.
