I'm honestly glad you liked it, and from knowing you for years on r/Netflixwitcher, I know we have very different opinions and tastes when it comes to media.
For me, BO doesn't offer much of anything. Meldorf is a great example. There would have been potential there, but they pretty much wasted it.
