Morning Womble! On paper I'm rereading the Rivers of London series (finishing Foxglove Summer now) in preparation for Stone and Sky. On digital I've just completed The Knight and the Moth, with Dark Waters (Netherweird #6) up next. Hope you feel better soon!

Seconding the rec for Once and Future Witches - I had a great time with it. Kushiel's Dart et seq. was sumptuous, lush & heartbreaking. I'm currently having an indecently good time with Violet Fenn's Netherweird series: urban fantasy in Liverpool with cats, firebirds and undead monarchs, oh my.

Bit dystopian so for fun there's Violet Fenn's Netherweird Chronicles, a Liverpool urban fantasy.

Good morning, thanks to a recommendation here I am reading The Wizard's Cat after reading The Wizard's Butler by Nathan Lowell. I will be aiming to start Strange Days by Violet Fenn book 7 in the Netherweird Chronicles

There's a wonderful book series 💙📚 that gives very good reasons for these tunnels and, fabulously well recommended: The Netherweird Chronicles by Violet Fenn. If you haven't found them yet, there's five books to enjoy. @violetfenn.bsky.social

If yiu want to explore urban fantasy further, my friend @violetfenn.bsky.social has a Netherweird series, beset with monsters who hide in plain sight, within the underworld of Liverpool (where she lives).

#Advent day 4 The Netherweird Chronicles by @violetfenn.bsky.social I love this series and can't wait for book 7. As well as great stories you also get some interesting facts about Liverpool. I didn't know the Liverpool birds are called Bella and Bertie 😁 netherweird.net

Just finished ‘The Book Keeper’, Sarah Painter, and now onto the final book of the Netherweird Chronicles, City of Ghosts, Violet Fenn. Both excellent authors.

Being visually impaired, Clair's contribution to tour travel is as navigator and live audiobook, doing all the voice characters. Currently we're very much enjoying the Netherweird #UrbanFantasy series by @violetfenn.bsky.social — dysfunctional queer undead caregiving on the streets of Liverpool.

Red & Dead (the 1st Netherweird Chronicles)

Violet fenn the netherweird chronicles set in Liverpool

You need to read the netherweird books by Violet Fenn, where vampires are grotty slobs.

Just finished Dark Waters please tell me this is nlt the end #netherweird violetfenn.bsky.social

I like hard SF (Hamilton, Reynolds) and wild fantasy (Abercrombie, McLean), but every now and then I like something a bit lighter - currently enjoying Violet Fenn's Netherweird series.
