I actually have an answer for this prompt! My “no one remembers but me” game is NetStorm
A multiplayer RTS/tower defence game from 1997 set on floating islands in the clouds. We would tie the phone line up for hours playing this as teenagers. The first game where I made new friends online too.

Netstorm was a *weird* one. You built random Tetris bridges to take over flying islands, carefully placing towers that auto-attacked anything in sight, and ultimately tried to capture and sacrifice the enemy player's vital Priest. Thanks to NetstormHQ, the full game's still alive, campaign and all.

100%. Good games need ported at most. On the topic of "bad" games someone should fund my quest to remake "Netstorm: Islands at War"
A lot of people tend to bring up old favorites when asked this question but in my opinion the games truly deserving of remakes are the ones that “could have been good” but didn’t quite hit the mark in their first attempt. Bad games that deserve second chances.
