For me I guess it's anything pre me😂

I usually consider Oldhammer to be Rogue Trader and 2nd Edition, Middlehammer to be 3rd to 7th Edition, and everything post-Primaris to be filthy Newhammer. But yeah, there's definitely a *lot* of overlap; the classic Mk. I Rhino was available in some form well into the 2000s.

My first thought was "oh, old bits, I get it", thinking of approx. 4th edition, with my second and third being "ohhh I still consider those very recent newhammer" and "Right, I'm old".

I'm not sure how to describe it, but the large size, fragility and general impracticality makes newer ones feel more "toyified".

Hey look, it's Newhammer rats as well! No magnets for their bases because Army Painter only gives 20 1x5mm magnets in their packs and I don't need another 80 1x3mm magnets :D
