Ignorant comment. Most of the heavy lifting on research is done by NIH, other USG grants. The drug companies then monetize it. I have understood that the drug companies spend most of their R&D on marketing copy cat drugs; not on fundamental research.

Asikk nih, mulai rame 🤩
Disini lebih aman bro kalau mau posting video & foto vulgar/event, asal di kasih label. Di sana meski di label, tapi kalau ada yang report tetap bisa kena suspend dan withheld

Most people don't realize that a lot of basic drug research is done in university labs www.bentley.edu/news/new-stu...
Drug companies do basic research, but a huge amount of their "research" is product differentiation for profit (look at PPIs for example)
New study shows NIH investment in new drug approvals is comparable to investment by pharmaceutical industry
A new Bentley study, published in JAMA Health Forum, shows that the amount invested per approved drug by the NIH is comparable to that of reported investment by the biopharmaceutical industry.

I’m just gonna guess Maria doesn’t know much about women’s NIH research. We know she doesn’t appreciate menopause knowledge maybe she should research the differences in heart attack symptoms between men and women. Ya, that’s a really horror story.

The government picks up the tab. It already spends more $50 billion a year through NIH and other agencies. We don't need the pharma cesspool of corruption, take away the patent monopolies and it goes away.
Why would anyone invest in the research?

That actually makes it sound more normal than it is.

Oh, is Hegseth going to move agencies around in the Pentagon? Just like NIH?

I have stage 4 cancer .
I voted early, making sure my voice was heard. This 👇

Trump implemented and proposed deep reductions, grant terminations, and structural policy changes affecting federal cancer research funding through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Ins.

With a MAHA infected HHS, who btw, opened a "vaccine injury clinic", the goal is to assist the quack & cranks by further sewing doubt & steer people towards so-called-alternative-medicines (SCAM).

RFK Jr. is definitely coming for your vaccines (part 12): The new NIH vaccine injury clinic is likely a sham
Last week, RFK Jr. and his minions opened a "vaccine injury clinic" at the NIH. With no budget, structure, or leadership announced, the program appears to be a sham in service of RFK Jr.'s war on vacc
