Yes we have floods coming... A view sitting behind what's supposed to be the water break of the 1-5 Bridge Crossing the Nisqaully River (I 5 is far left). This break has been eroding for several years & this flood will certainly cause more erosion . #flood2025 #nisqaully #nisquallyriver #i5bridge

The many braids of the #NisquallyRiver. At this elevation the Nisqually River is still relatively small, steep, and carries a lot of sediment from the glaciers of #Tahoma. These channels change over time as heavy floods will move the channels and islands between them.

The Mountain was Out and the #nisquallyriver was moving at a good clip. It is always good to see #tahoma, but the view from the Nisqually Riverbed in #Longmire is one of my faves. #MtRainier was the first #nationalpark that I fell in love with.
