We’re supporting two education bills today. HB 63 modernizes the SEG and is the result of two years of task force work that we were honored to be involved with.

HB 156 is an increase to the teacher tier minimums to 55,000, 65,000, and 75,000.

What is so infuriating the NM legislature and governor can find $138M for a hypersonic Missile development and more subsidies for Oil and Gas yet they cannot feed the hungry, children, elders and others in the State of New Mexico.

Before the SNAP benefits cuts happen on Nov. 1st know that charitable food bank programs are unable to fully support those facing hunger in New Mexico.

The combination of charity and government assistance programs are necessary to bridge the meal gap
