LEFT 4 DEAD 2:
Not only was L4D2 my introduction to PvE Co-Op games (which are still my go-to for playing with friends (e.g. PAYDAY 2, Helldivers 2, most recently NMRIH 2)), it was where I met one of my best friends who at this point I've known for over a decade.

Also nmrih 2 nightmare difficulties isnt really that scary. Since they hit harder and theres a lot more shamblers and runners, it just becomes "5 hour video essay with subway surfer and penis music on the side with youtube shorts." Cant pay attention to feel the intensity really...

I did one nightmare run on nmrih 2 and two people requested me as a friend and I thought "why" and my fiance said "because you are good at the game and they want a good teammate." And I said "no I am not."

actually nmrih 2 without voice chat is fun if you practice asceticism and learn to melee. And learn the sign of infection and low health(cough/distorted voice and more blooded nameplate) so you can help others but expect no helps coming to you.

So No More Room in Hell 2 came out and it's apparently good now, so like any sensible person I decided to delve into loreslop for a zombie game instead of actually playing it, and I think NMRIH is the most fascinating narrative take on zombie outbreak I've ever seen.

Oh yeah it was a HUGE misfire for a target audience. Torn Banner basically pulled the same thing that B4B did forgoing what their game actually was in favor of "FROM THE GUYS WHO MADE [older game]!)" which left NMRIH fans scorned as hell and extraction fans totally in the dark about the game at all.
