I've been around the software industry enough time to know that software is not factory work.
Companies would like it or not but inconvenience happens, bugs happen and a lot more things escape our control, investing time in something so error-prone is not useful for anybody.

eu passei a aplicar "no estimates". Funciona bem e acertamos bem mais. Esse vídeo da uma explanada boa. Inclusive a maioria dos times que trabalhei assim entregávamos mais coisas e éramos elogiados pela quantidade de entregas hahaha

Why is estimation still used in software engineering? Estimates are wrong. When it comes to giving cost estimates to clients, can you measure the effort? You can't? Then make it smaller. Make it even smaller! Focus on small functional deliveries that you can measure. That is agile. #noestimates
