A reference sheet drawing of my character, Anja. They are a teenage girl wearing a pink and purple outfit, with a large orange scarf and orange bandana in their hair. They have cat paws and a lion tail. They have brown eyes, and hair that is both brown and blonde. Image text: Anja (Anya) Farona age: around 17 race: felid identity: nonbinary lesbian (she/they) location: the Far Reaches a young girl surrounded by mystery, anja grew up in the mountains with little contact with society other than her mother, svee. she is left alone quite often, and ventures far to barter with their neighbors. very skilled with a bow, and can move so quietly that even the snow is left barely disturbed behind them. neighbors claim she has a bright and caring disposition, but around her mother, she is quiet and reserved, showing little emotion. they possess a supposedly extraordinary talent, but svee forbids them from speaking about it. notes: - two-tone hair grows in patches of each color, but is typically lighter at the root - wears one archers glove - keeps heels exposed, for stealth - sharp fangs and claws - “lion cub” spot on paws, smaller + daintier paws than their mother

Sketchy ref for Valkyrie

#art #nograves #valkyrie #svee
A reference sheet of my character, Valkyrie. She is a manticore with a brown body and black clouded leopard-like spots, a white lion’s mane, red horns that curve backward, an arrow-tipped tail, and saber fangs. She has large wings with brown and red feathers. Text to the right reads: “Much like seeing a black dog in a cemetery, seeing the manticore known as the Valkyrie is an ill omen and a symbol of death in the Far Reaches. She is often seen deep in the woods and is extremely aggressive — approaching her is strongly advised against. She is said to deliver hunters and warriors to a swift and ungraceful death with her unnatural strength and lethal venom, and none who have faced her have lived to tell the tale. When Svee is in her Valkyrie form, she retains no memory or personality and is strictly animalistic. She cannot recognize people or language. Her body in Valkyrie form is seeking magic to sustain her, and, when she has consumed enough, she will try her best to make it back home before collapsing and changing forms. She does not use her wings much. They mostly hang half-extended, or dragging against the ground.”

Updated text for the ref sheets 🌄

#art #OCsky #nograves #svee #anja #lyra
A reference sheet for my character, Lyra. She is a tall, tanned woman with dark hair and small purple half-frame glasses. She has hooves and a long, winding tail, and wears a pink dress with a shawl. Text in image: Lyra Sandoval age: 42 (at time of disappearance) race: equiid identity: femme trans lesbian (she/her) location: Capitol city of Dawnridge, Northern Corvodas personality: intelligent, inquisitive, polite, analytical, devout, persistent, relentless occupation: Environmental Scientist, primary Magical Ecology Researcher status: missing Lyra was a respected and well-known member of the Dawnridge Department of Natural Resources, within the Research division. She was known for her passion and seemingly endless hunger for knowledge. Prior to her disappearance, she was rarely seen without her hired guard, Svee. Neither have been seen for over eighteen years. A reference sheet of my character, Svee. She is an auburn-haired catgirl with blue, white, and brown clothes. On the left, she is displayed younger, and is smiling. On the right, she is displayed older, with scars on her face, looking disgruntled. Image text: Left: Svytlana Farona age: 30 race: felid identity: agender butch lesbian (she/her) location: Capitol city of Dawnridge, Northern Corvodas personality: quiet, loyal, obedient, observant, reliable occupation: hired guard and assistant to Lyra Sandoval status: in good standing A simple woman, Svee is not known to speak much about herself, and seems to only talk about Lyra. She is known for her generally friendly disposition and her skill with her curved twin blades, which she calls “The Saber’s Fangs”. She is rarely seen anywhere but at Lyra’s side. Right: “Svee” age: 52 race: felid identity: agender butch lesbian (she/her) location: the Far Reaches, northern Corvodas personality: standoffish, secretive, blunt, no-nonsense, avoidant, abrasive occupation: former hired guard status: wanted Little is known about the woman known only as “Svee” - she lives in a remote cabin in the mountains with her daughter, Anja, and regularly disappears for weeks on end. It’s best to not try to speak to her - she won’t acknowledge you, anyway. A reference sheet of my character, Anja. They are a teenage catgirl with traits resembling a lion. She wears an orange bandana in her hair, big orange scarf, a dark pink short sleeve shirt, and cuffed light pink and orange pants. She wears one archer’s glove. Image text: age: around 17 race: felid identity: nonbinary lesbian (she/they) location: the Far Reaches, Northern Corvodas A young girl surrounded by mystery, Anja grew up in the mountains with little contact with society other than her mother, Svee. Neighbors claim she has a bright and caring disposition, but around her mother, she is quiet and reserved, showing little emotion. They possess a supposedly extraordinary talent, but Svee forbids them from speaking about it.
