I did read the whole article, as I wasn't able to see enough of the Playoff games last year.
Players shouldn't be deemed as non-employees but schools like Notre Dame may ratchet the NFL, so it's a complicated issue.

I don't dispute either of your experiences. But when addressing a diverse audience of many, many non-profs, as this writer does, leaping from there to "and that's why colleges generally consider AI a threat" is an irresponsible straw man & centers profs as the issue. professors aren't the issue here

The false positive rate on those detectors skews hard against non-native English writers and certain genre conventions (romance, YA) that already get dismissed as formulaic. Bias baked in before you even reach the bigger issue.

I also find non-removable bottle caps awesome. It’s a strange target for eurobashers. Makes these folks look childish. It solves a specific issue, without a meaningful increase in production costs, beyond transition. Unless you were running an ancient production line.
