This latest introduction of Democrats being communist is another ploy to drag the older maga voters back to the “Red Scare.” The chronic incitement of fear & distrust is the hallmark of this corrupt regime. These folks are seriously evil.

Nice try getting me to admit noncommunist art can be good
Here’s a question: who is the artist with politics you disagree strongly with, whose politics *do* (in your view) influence their art, that you still think is talented and whose work you enjoy?

I'm intrigued that Mazowiecki is top. He was the first noncommunist premier since the end of WWII, in 1989. So he was the first real sign that communism was on the way out.

A party has gathered in the stairwell. They're The Peoples Revolutionary Green Pacifist Noncommunist Party (PRGPNP). There are about 8 of them, and they're having a vigorous rebate about whether to have candles. It may lead to schism. Last week was the Weeping Philosphers Party, but they disbanded.

This served 3 purposes. One, exploiting postwar anger and allow locals to reflect blame from themselves onto the victim. Two, identify noncommunist agitators. Three blackmail said agitators to become communists due to their recorded crimes.

Noncommunist western 'progressives' might be the literal worst people on earth at understanding cynicism or making cynical decisions so I've been getting a lot of enjoyment from watching them try and fail to make a cynical strategic play by supporting platner and then hamfistedly cover their tracks

As a noncommunist I gotta say, every time capitalist nations do something that people call communism, it's a good thing. Capitalist countries should do more communism that would be cool

China has been communist since the 1950s and still is. Although it later embraced a noncommunist economic system because it had profound economic problems, the government and its policies remain communist today. Again, if you want to believe otherwise, that's your decision.

also interesting: for most of my life "the west" meant "the noncommunist developed world yes including Japan". Now it's being redefined to specifically mean the white anglosphere plus Russia.

Bad things are here, worse things are coming.
You don’t have to be particularly sharp to decipher the code here.

But if you need someone to say it, this is a major technology company and a sizable defense and intelligence contractor publicly declaring, with only the thinnest patina of deniability, that its cause is white nationalism.

. . . Privately they thought the brutal, uncompromising Amin was the problem. It was critically important to them to maintain a quiet southern border. Until the Marxist coup of 1978, Soviet leaders had found a nonaligned, noncommunist, independent Afghanistan tolerable.
