home again my own bed my own couch & especially my dear sweet patient computer shit now why won't it work? new downloads? telephone company bad connection? & my tomatoes waited for me bright red and heavy & all my half-done projects stayed that way for me knowing my truck weary body was anxious to accomplish something maybe i'll even finish one before i start another but xmas is around the corner oh i'm so all over the place happy to be home.

diet pepsi & nacho cheese i thought i was going to be a designer a career woman i didn’t want to do any house work i figured if i didn’t know how i wouldn’t have to do it as a career woman i could hire a maid i also figured that by the time i was 21 they would have all food in pill form & i wouldn’t have to bother eating or cooking or washing dishes i was all for it i didn’t like food my mother says when i was little i liked it all crab crayfish ketchup cauliflower asparagus pumpkin pie rabbit deer quail pheasant prawns & rice pudding now my menu’s small but it makes it easy to figure out what i’m going to eat since i mainly like hamburgers steaks pizza frozen chicken pot pies grilled cheese & tomato sandwiches sweet stuff cookies candy mr. goodbars butter & crackers or chips & a coke diet pepsi & nacho cheese that’s it

GRANDMA #2 grandma's got a world of her own just her a few old cronies the bartender oh yeah and her husband who wears the beer can hat she made him for his birthday i think she married him because he looks just like the guy on the old burgermeister label we call him "burgie" grandma's a real swinger likes to dance have parties: wedding aniversaries, going aways, st. patrick's day, birthdays on new year's eve she felt penned a butterfly on her thigh and went around to each old crony lifting up her dress and showing them her pulsating butterfly she was a real hit that night on her birthday she fell off the barstool and broke her hip i think her stay in the hospital was the longest she ever was away from her dark hideout but i guess it's not really a hideout for if we ever want to find her we know just where she'll be on the eighth bar stool next to the man in the beer can hat -- nila NorthSun Missoula MT
