Apparently twice as fast as the old plan9 WLS when it comes to accessing files on the host .. which may sound pretty good, but it'd actually need to be about 10x to get on par with native NTFS performance.
Still a poor choice for a lot of Linux […]

update: I've ditched my broken windows 11 23h2 install and installed latest enterprise ISO and wowie zowie no more crashing drivers n shit. I need to backup Terabytes of shit onto my NAS so I can eventually dualboot linux without worrying about the NTFS problem... which means I need a bigger NAS.

Pentru cei mai mulți utilizatori sunt doar niște denumiri tehnice, însă alegerea făcută aici poate decide dacă un fișier poate fi copiat, dacă stickul va fi recunoscut de televizor sau dacă unitatea va funcționa atât pe Windows, cât și pe Mac.

Careful. I've known a lot of people who've tried this and corrupted stuff. Linux hasn't been great with NTFS. With Steam in particular I've heard horror stories of read/write suddenly just dropping to zero and their drive just doesn't read on restart
