Fuck every single politician from every single party that wants to impose nuclear power on Scotland. It's stupidly expensive, hugely dangerous, and we don't need it. We have plenty of power. Nuclear plants in Scotland are solely for the benefit of England. Build them in England.

“We do not want a country dominated by a foreign power — as has unfortunately happened in Venezuela.” In Cuba, said Mauricio Alonso, a 68-year-old former nuclear engineer, defiantly, “there are no Delcy Rodríguezes.”

What about the embracing of nuclear power?

There's always been debate about nuclear power within the environmental movement. Greens disagree about stuff, like all parties. Gets reported differently though.

How can you look at the permanent scars on the planet caused by disasters at Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, Windscale and Fukushima and think Nuclear Power is a good idea?

Sure it's grossly impractical, maybe impossible; it's been years since I worked in nuclear power, but those "fundamental safety questions" typically involve use of tons of lead and water...

But why?

What possible reason does humanity have to put such a dangerous, complex and limited power supply
This is just nuts. "Microreactors may eventually end up on the moon, but none are proven and ready. Fundamental safety questions--how to get rid of heat, how to shield the reactor, how to maintain the structural integrity--have not been fully resolved for space reactors...."
Superpowers Race to Put Nuclear Reactors on the Moon (Gift Article)
The United States wants a reactor on the moon by 2030. A Russian-Chinese alliance is working on one for 2036. Some leading scientists say the danger is great.

The US having nuclear weapons scares the fkk out of me more than Iran ever has. And now the US has a verified fkk psycho in power! Iran is not the threat!!

Because if the UK Nuclear waste depository is going to be located in Scotland. Then there has to be a Nuclear Power Plant in Scotland.

The hidden cost and danger of nuclear power nobody wants to talk about.
Russia’s nuclear plants are ageing. Who will pay to dismantle them?
Moscow faces a huge decommissioning bill at home even as it expands its nuclear industry abroad.

So the problem is a nazi-emulating rogue Apartheid statw with an illegal nuclear arsenal supported by the current biggest fascist power in the world.

Good on you too admit that.
